Web design, literally design for the World Wide Web, is the business of design, planning and construction of a website intended to be enjoyed with a web browser, text browsers or assistive technologies on the Internet.
There are various professionals involved in designing a website: the information architect who collects the user requirements and designing information architecture, interface designer who designs the GUI pages and content, the web designer is an expert in the field of web graphics (not for publishing), which produces web pages in HTML / XHTML for web browsers. The webmaster is the manager, responsible for technical operation of the site when it is published.
